Tara Wilkinson is a partner, creative director, writer and project manager at Fire Engine Inc. with extensive experience in communications, media relations, marketing, event planning and the packaging of ideas and promotions.

Prior to launching the Fire Engine creative studio, Tara was PR Director for two of the country’s largest limited-service lodging chains – Journey’s End Corporation and Choice Hotels Canada. In both of these demanding roles, Tara developed aggressive media relations, marketing and communications programs to build company and brand awareness, and to stimulate franchise and consumer revenue.

Today, Tara is a member of the Toronto Board of Trade and the Women's Executive Network (WXN). She has served as an advisor, board or committee member with the Canadian Franchise Association, Hotel Association of Canada, Travel Media Association of Canada, International Association of Business Communicators, Girl Guides of Canada and the Canadian Tourism Commission.

Tara is a graduate from Centennial College with a diploma in Corporate Communications and Sir Sandford Fleming College's Haliburton School of the Arts with a certificate in Expressive Arts.
